Great book! I knew that rat Connor was up to no good! But I didn't realize the dept of it. I really fell for Zoe and Palmer's relationship. I'm ready for Part Two. I started reading it this evening and couldn't stop. I love books that pull me in and makes me want to finish them. That's what happened with this one. I thought I knew how it was going to play out, but I was very wrong! I don't want to post any spoilers, but this was a very good read! I'm kicking myself for taking so long to actually start it!
Blue was definitely a brainiac! He gives the readers a vocabulary lesson throughout the novel. With that being said, the readers can tell that the author did a lot of research for this work. By the time I finished the book, I was wondering about what if the world were to become as it stated. It opens your eyes to the possibility of Global Warming going bad. One the other hand, I knew something was up with Blue from the beginning. His peculiar looks and thought process was a giveaway. This story was full of twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. Foes becoming friends and friends becoming foes. Everything is not what it seems in this story. It captivated me from the beginning and held me prisoner to the end! It was well-written! Great job!
What a great collection of short stories. Each story was well written and flowed nicely. Each author had an amazing story to tell that drew you in and kept your attention throughout the entire story. The morgue and the goblins are my favorite two because of the fact that I could not help putting myself in the place of the woman on the slab and imagining the horror of being alive during all of that! Great good to all.
