What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I am always excited about the opportunities that await me each day... The funny of writing stories, illustrating covers and cartoon concepts, and teaching art to children. Because of that, I am quick to get out of bed in the morning.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I'm also a cartoonist/illustrator. I either design all comic art myself, or I someone else does it based on my concept art. I also teach art/media classes at different schools. And I create game apps and animations on my free time.
