Reata Strickland


With 28 years of experience in graphic design, including 25 years at the University of Alabama, Reata serves as a creative source for web design, iTunes U and multimedia projects. She collaborates with faculty, professionals and administrators across campus in the area of graphic design, web solutions, technology solutions and special projects. While striving to stay up-to-date in this ever-changing environment Reata also provides leadership within various professional and student organizations on campus. Reata is the Immediate Past President of the Professional Staff Assembly and was a Board Member for Challenge 21. She has received numerous national design awards, is the recipient of an ADDY award and the Osher Re-entry Scholarship and was recently recognized among New College honor students.

Reata edited "Interview with God" in 2001 and received success in the first inspirational flash based web site by the same name. She has two daughter and currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
