Rebekah Wilson

Rebekah Wilson made her literary debut with the young-adult theatre-camp comedy THE RUNS OF WHITESKILL, currently available on, Kindle, and other retail channels. Rebekah gets her character names from magazines, other people, shows, movies, household products, and, yes, baby-name websites; she gets her plots from her own life experiences, movies, other books, and shows. Rebekah plans to release her books in print, as well as cater to the increasing e-publishing market. She also writes parodies and poetry.

Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest book, THE RUNS OF WHITESKILL: RETURN OF THE RUNS, is along similar lines to that behind my debut, in that it's based on my own experiences with summer camp and theatre when I was younger, except RETURN OF THE RUNS takes place two years after THE RUNS OF WHITESKILL (my debut), with my male lead Ace Whibley in the shoes of a camp counselor helping people who were where he was before he got discovered and developed a following in the UK. (He is trying to expand his following in the US.)
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I became an indie author because I had virtually no connections to the publishing and literary industries, and I liked the flexibility that the indie publishing world gave me. I was able, as an indie author, to get my voice out there as soon as possible.
