  • Tit for Tat on Jan. 09, 2021

I loved Tit for Tat. It’s beautifully written, takes place in a wonderfully realised fantastic world, and the romance is touching and real. Thank you!
  • Play It Again, Charlie on Jan. 09, 2021

What I loved best about this book is how real the characters feel, and how vividly the setting - the apartments where Charlie and Will live - comes to life. Charlie’s perspective is painfully relatable, and the ending is cathartic and satisfying.

I love the way Megan Derr handles the Cinderella story in the first story of this collection. It’s fresh and new, but also instantly recognisable, and made me see the old story in a new way. The romance is all lovely, as always from this author. I highly recommend the book :)
  • The Devotion of Delflenor on April 18, 2021

As always, R. Cooper's work is stunningly beautiful, sensitive, clever and heart-warming. In this story, especially, she shows off her skill at portraying yearning (on both sides of the romance) and creates an inventive and imaginative world, that thinks carefully about how sexuality and gender might work in a fantastic setting. I think this book is pretty close to perfect.
  • Sweet Nothings on April 27, 2021

Loved this book! And especially loved the cupcake jokes :) I highly recommend it for a sweet and heat-warming read, with lots of feelings.
  • A Trilogy of Knights on May 24, 2021

This is a fun read — the world and the characters in all three stories were vividly drawn and engaging, and I really enjoyed the romance, and the fairytale and folklore elements.
  • A Suitable Consort (For the King and His Husband) on Aug. 12, 2021

This book is oozing with sweetness, but also with pining and longing. The characters feel real, the story is emotionally satisfying, and the integration of past and present is seamless. I love it!
