Réka Lugossy
Biography
Réka Lugossy, PhD, is an assistant professor in applied linguistics at the University of Pécs, Hungary.
She first began her teaching career in primary and secondary schools in Romania, then in Hungary. She has been involved in teacher education for 20 years and taught courses on children’s literature, on how to apply narratives in TEFL and on exploring teachers’ beliefs about teaching and learning. She has published in English mostly on the role of stories in children’s meaning making, on how teachers’ narratives support teacher cognition and on the importance of educational culture in language learning and teaching, such as:
