Rémi Metro
Rémi Metro lived in several European countries for many years, before settling in North America. He is multi-lingual. Though English is his fourth language, he is fluent (like Joseph Conrad) and holds a B.A. in English.
His early influences in imaginative literature were many, including a wide range - Andre Norton, Alfred Bester, Cordwainer Smith, Thomas Pynchon, et al. His favorite films include Blade Runner, Alien, North by Northwest, Alphaville...too many to name; most recently the 2007 French sleeper Chrysalis.
Rémi Metro writes primarily about a fabulous network of Time Trains, built long ago by a lost race of aliens. The Time Trains are a self-replicating, self-healing, semi-intelligent roadway outside time and space, connecting an ever-increasing number of nodes - including one or more variations and time phases of our own Earth.
But it's the people on those Time Trains and in the far-flung cities that we want to know more about - what they did, how they felt, and their fate among the seas of stars amid oceans of eternity.
