Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I began writing poetry late in age maybe around age 19...just sitting on my front porch by myself, I had a pen an pad and just wrote:

Quiet, are the streets
Still, is the air
All by myself
Alone, I am here
Thoughts on my mind
But no one around to share
Wishes of someone here with me
By my side, right here.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I actually just fell into writing. It was nothing that I seeked out to find. I had written a little snipit of something I felt growing up and shared it with a friend. They asked what it was because it sounded like it could be a one day, I sat down and began to elaborate on those few sentences.
