I really hope this author is a teenager because it read like a pre-teen romance fantasy with so much hate and jealousy towards the main characters. If the author is a teen then I'd say the book is well written for their age just research more (especially,for example, if a character is going to be in a coma for three days - they won't unhook their IV and send them home the next day). If this is an adult then I'd tell them to stay off Instagram because I felt like I was following a teen IG page.
