Biography

S.C. Rhyne is a world traveler, blogger, and novelist based in New York City. When she isn't writing or exploring, she enjoys swimming, reading historical fiction, and discovering new music. Her first novel, The Reporter and The Girl blurs the lines of reality and imagination, and conjures the emotions that bind us together.

How do you approach cover design?
Luckily I was working with two great artists, Definitely Jenny and Sketch!Bravo beforehand on some artwork on my blog, The Reporter and The Girl. So I asked both if either would mind coming up with a concept for a book cover. I wanted to stay with the same "look" as the blog.
What do you read for pleasure?
Just about anything. YA, graphic novels, social science issues, and I recently got hooked on a paranormal romance series. Of all people, I've never been interested in fantasy/paranormal but I am now.
