  • Alone (Vampires and the Life of Erin Rose - 1) on Oct. 17, 2011
    (no rating)
I usually read science fiction books. I started reading this book, and started to really get into it. I like the twists of different faith which the heroine, Erin, went thru. The book is based upon there being two different types of Vampires -- Sanguans and Spectavi. Through out the begining of the book, the Spectavi come across as the "better" of the two types, as they only drink synthetic blood. As the book progresses you are not so sure and by the end you may change your mind. A very enjoyable romp thru the lives and goals of Vampires. If you want a very enjoyable book that keeps you interested, this one should not leave you disappointed.

  • The Last to Fall on Oct. 17, 2011

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but I started to read it and could not put it down or stop reading. It reminded me of an after armageden book only it was really an after the horde book. It was laid out as a story and adventure between a man and his son. I found it to be very unique and extremely enjoyable. Since it is the first in a series, I am looking forward to the rest of the series. It was a very short story, so you can read it in a couple of hours.
  • Harbingers of Mortality on Oct. 17, 2011

This book was a good fantasy tale... It had many different characters - An assasin, multiple magicians, some trained, some natural and even an Ogre who was a magician. The magic was limited by natural means, you needed sand or a mineral to restore yourself. It seemed to end reasonably well at the end and left the opening for some continuation, even with other characters.
  • Diary of the Displaced - Book 1 - The Journal of James Halldon on Oct. 27, 2011

"I received this book from Library Thing Giveaway, I read it in a few sittings. It had a lot of different areas in it which had you wondering what was going on, it reminded me of the Twilight Zone. The story was well told and kept your interest."
  • Diary of the Displaced - Chasing Spirits - The Memoirs of Reginald Weldon on Oct. 27, 2011

"The book had a slow start, then I couldn't put it down. I read it in a few hours. This is a story about the good, bad and extremely ugly in a man of over 100 years life. It keeps your attention through wars abroad and same as wars at home during the early parts of the 19th century. I believe anyone will enjoy this book."
  • Finding Fiona on Nov. 29, 2011

I enjoyed this book from the moment I started to read it. It was just a relatively short story, but kept you intrigued from the beginning. You are told about a girl who cannot remember her past, but gradually does find out a lot. You will find a person who is so good, she helps someone she does not know, lets her into her life and cares for her more than a lot of people do for their own children. Read this book, it will be a easy and enjoyable read.
  • Brandon Marlowe and the Alpha in the Omega on Jan. 21, 2012

Well written and interesting book. Different aspect on God and Jesus Christ. Author does a good job of developing all the characters and keeping you into the story. I would suggest this book to others to read.
  • Let the Dragon Wake on Jan. 30, 2012

This was a very well written book with a great story line. I enjoyed it completely from start to finish. Anyone who likes a book that flows and never seems to hit a hiccup will love this book. I wonder if this may become a series, I hope so as it was that good. Very good read for any one, although there is some detail not suitable for very young children, not much, but some. Read this book and I think you will love it as I did.
  • The Golden Spark: The Legend of the Great Horse (Book 2) on Dec. 18, 2012

Second book I have read from this author in this series. A very interesting read with a lot of history in a time travel scenario. Great continuation from the first book. If you like history of horses, this is a very good book to read.
  • Hope (Vampires and the Life of Erin Rose - 3) on Dec. 27, 2012

Another good book in the Life of Erin Rose series. This one continues the story from the first two books in the series. Erin seems to have matured some in this story and is trying to find out some important information to help protect all of the different people in the world. Very exciting and action packed book. If you enjoy stories about Vampires and how they affect the world, this is a great book to read.
  • Ageless on Jan. 12, 2013

I truly enjoyed this book. Gives a good description of the friction between vampires and witchs/warlocks. Very good paranormal with some of the reasons why vampires are the way they are. Looking forward to more stories in the series.
  • Werelove #3: Night Betrayals on March 01, 2013

I can't really understand the way in which the father, grandmother and "husband/mate" of this young girl use and abuse her. I have never read a story in which I so wanted to beat the he** out of so many people in a story. Other than that, this story from book 1 on has kept my interest and continues to do so. It is a paranormal romance without equal in my opinion. If you want a story line which you cannot put down, this book full of action, romance and hurt is a great series for you.
  • Annals of the Las Armas #1: The Rising on March 01, 2013

Very well written paranormal and alien story. This story just grabs you and does not let you go. Goes into the psion community and gives you all kinds of things to think about. Has a very different romance going on through out the book. I believe this is one of the best Sci-fi, Romance, Paranormal books I have ever read. Can't wait for the next in the series.
  • Moonbeams (Beams & Light #1) on March 01, 2013

Another great novel by Lakisha Spletzer. This one is very different from the other stories I have read of hers. This one is about Elves, Fairies, Ogres and other mythical creatures. The story line gives you a lot of information about the interaction of the different species, some good, some bad, but it is one heck of an action packed story. It tells about 2 boys and 1 girl from the future who stumble into a gate and go to another world. A very good series beginner...
  • Jewels on March 07, 2013

Another great book by this author. She can really describe all of the different nuances it takes to make a story extremely interesting and exceptional. I have loved her werelove series and this book is just as good, if not better. If you want a good read, this is a very good book to have.
  • Moon Feast on March 07, 2013

This is a very short, dark story. It shows how if you are not a very good person, very bad things can happen to you. If you like dark stories, try this, it will not leave you disappointed.
  • Nothing Ventured on March 23, 2013

This was a very good story about family, woman in construction, and romance. The story shows how much effort all three of these things takes to make work. It will keep your interest from start to finish and leave you with a good feeling when it is over. Looking forward to the next in the series.
