Rozie Manton
Biography
Rozie Manton (1959-Present) was born in Englewood, Colorado, to Italian immigrant parents. In 1977 Rozie relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and has been living there ever since.
In 1981 she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with an undergraduate degree in English, receiving her Masters Degree in English in 1983.
As a youth she was known as the "Logan Street Bookworm" because of her extreme love for books and reading.
Rozie is extremely creative and artistic. She enjoys observing and interacting with the children in her neighborhood whom she uses as inspiration and story lines for her writings.
