R. P. Bonasso
R. P. Bonasso started dabbling in fiction writing while on a fire-base in Viet Nam in 1970. Several years ago, after receiving an honorable mention in a Writer's Digest short story contest, he decided to get serious about it. His first book, Outback Reckoning (http://www.trebleheartbooks.com/WDBonasso.html) asks the question, how does a kick-butt babe like you see in movies and video games get her start? His current book, Portals, uses science fiction to examine what it would take to keep someone from killing themselves after a crushing loss.
For the past twenty years he's worked for NASA, making their robots "smart". He lives with his family in Houston, TX.
