Having rediscovered my childhood passion for reading whilst working and travelling in Europe in 1997, it wasn’t long before I felt the urge to begin writing.
Being an avid reader myself, it is ALL about the writing – the quality of the prose itself – and this is something I try to practice every day. Books shouldn’t just tell a story from start to finish, telling you what happened; a good book should make you feel a certain way too, as well as living with you a long time after you’ve finished reading it. I am passionate about good quality reading and writing.
I hope you enjoy my work. Please feel free to leave comments. Thank you!
What are you working on next?
I am currently working on my first full length novel, which I hope to have complete during 2014. Watch this space!
Who are your favorite authors?
I absolute love reading and enjoy a wide variety of Authors. If I had to name five I would go for: Dostoyevsky, Henry Miller, Orwell, Mailer and Salinger
Exhausted, jet-lagged, drunk – but massively high on life – Paul Tambert is awakened after less than an hour’s sleep by a loud knock on the door of his boiling hot Las Vegas Hotel room. A fellow Englishman he met only yesterday wants him to be the Best Man at his wedding…tonight!
Based on a true story.
The 1978 World Cup Final was one of the most spectacular but controversial sporting events in recent memory. All of Argentina, backed by the ruling military junta was willing them to win against a talented Dutch Team. This is my take on a truly gripping but heavily tarnished match and the events that surrounded it.

I think this author definitely has potential. Having said that I found the story fairly average. It was a promising idea and fairly well thought through but it didn't quite work for me. Having said that it has its moments and some of the prose is very good. I definitely think this author can do better which is why I've taken the time to write this review. Will look to read other work by this author in the future.
