As a kid Rick had a fervor for fiction that remains today. After High School he entered Rider University on a basketball scholarship and enrolled in his first writing class. These classes provided the foundation that he would build on later in life
After graduation, he put his writing on hold for a number of years. Financial advising became his occupation of choice. Today he runs a wealth management business, but he never gave up his passion for storytelling.
With his wife Janet settled into a career of her own, (managing editor of a trade magazine,) and his son Rich and daughter Jessica beyond the threshold of adulthood, he once again found the time to return to his passion of storytelling. Soon thereafter, he had his first story published in Boston Literary Magazine. The following year, he had another short story published in the literary journal The Foliate Oak. Later that same year, the editorial staff of The Foliate Oak selected his story for their, Best of Foliate Oak Anthology.
Rick lives in central New Jersey with his very understanding wife Janet who supports him in all of his endeavors, and his daughter Jessica. His son Rich has left the nest and now lives and works in Philadelphia.
Rick hopes that you’ve enjoyed reading his debut novel Blood Dance as much as he enjoyed writing it. He is currently working on the sequel.
