Born in the farm country of Southern Idaho, R.T. Jamison now lives in Northern California and works as a freelance technical writer. Jamison’s fiction often deals with Japan, where he was a salaryman for many years, and the rural/suburban West. His short stories have appeared in the Kenyon Review, the Bellevue Literary Review, Water~Stone Review and ZYZZYVA, among others.
He is the 2014 recipient of the James Kirkwood Literary Prize and a 2015 alumnus of the Squaw Valley Writers Workshop.
He is currently at work on a novel.
