Born in the farm country of Southern Idaho, R.T. Jamison now lives in Northern California and works as a freelance technical writer. Jamison’s fiction often deals with Japan, where he was a salaryman for many years, and the rural/suburban West. His short stories have appeared in the Kenyon Review, Sou'wester, and ZYZZYVA, among others.
He is the 2014 recipient of the James Kirkwood Literary Prize.
He is currently at work on a novel.
