Biography
Kristen has been a Supply Chain and Procurement contract professional since 1999, working for several Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. Government, and private companies, including her favorite position as a Subcontract Administrator at United Launch Alliance where she was involved with the procurement of the engines and motors for the Atlas V and Delta IV rockets.
Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Kristen is the mother to four grown boys and the owner of a petite, orange tabby cat named Ginger. Her life took a pivotal turn in 2008, when she was laid-off from her job, and then immediately offered another position in the same company, but in the state of Colorado. She has lived there since and loves the spectacular views.
Kristen has been keen on writing since the age of 12, but with children to raise and a career to establish, she was forced put any notion of becoming an author on hold. With the inspirational backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, and some new-found spare time, she has now published her first book Happy Customers, Happy Profits.
When she isn’t working, Kristen loves going for long drives in the mountains, writing self-help materials, reading, progressing her personal and spiritual development, watching movies, listening to music, and learning something new.
Her varied interests include helping animals and people, astronomy, fine art, holistic medicine, and ancient and modern self-help techniques for wellness of body, mind and spirit.
In regards to the future, Kristen’s aim is to stay focused, remain motivated and never give up on her dreams and aspirations.
