W.C. Anderson

W.C. Anderson is a displaced Florida native who's coming to terms with life in the unforgiving desert. She has lived and worked in four major cities, none of which are London, Paris, Prague, or Budapest. She believes in the pursuit of both adventure and comedy, and can currently be observed on the most challenging and unintentionally hilarious adventure of all: motherhood. She once knew how to play the piano and is slowly learning the violin by covert study at her son's lessons.

The sequel, Ever Evangeline, is now available on Amazon and soon to be available elsewhere. Updates can be found at http://adventuresofarusticmisfit.blogspot.com/

Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
At the moment I'm working on the final book in the Evangeline series. After that I'm excited to get started creating another world, centering around the current state of the movie industry and to be set in London, a long-time obsession of mine. The primary purpose, as with all of my stories, is to present female protagonists in a new light. My girls will never be perfect, but my hope is to make them interesting, a bit mysterious/misunderstood, tortured, and/or oppressed, with an unwavering core of inner strength that distinguishes them.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Florida. Growing up in such a beautiful place, the potential for adventure was limited only by my imagination, and as an adult I've never lost that spirit of adventure. I'm always trying to recreate that feeling in some way or other when I write.
