Russ has always disliked the phrase, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” He believes that a well-turned phrase has a sense of feel, rhythm, and purpose that shows the unique beauty of the written word. And he makes a strong case for this in his collection of delightful and thoughtful Haikus ... "Poetic prose" with just 3 lines and a few well-chosen words. Enjoy!
