Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I thought I was a poet in college. But, it turns out that I just liked writing dirty limericks and self-involved drivel... So things haven't changed that drastically. :) Fiction came later. I always thought of myself as creative, and my first novel, New Rock, bounced around in my head for a few years before I finally got the courage to actually write it. Most people have great stories in their head, but are too apprehensive to start.
Describe your desk
There is a picture of my son dressed as a superhero, an empty iphone box, pictures of elephants that my daughter did, a Jack White LP, and a bunch of bills that need paying.
