Ryan James Robinson

Biography

Ryan James Robinson is the author of the esoteric classic "The Butterfly" and the cult phenomenon "Bootlegging Kind." He writes with an eclectic style that spans from first-person character-driven exploration to third-person historical narrative, perhaps even a little jaunt here and there into genres like science fiction and mystery. For Ryan, it's all about not being defined or constrained by any single classification.

Ryan was raised among the salty dunes and marshes of Cape Cod and the glacial granite and lakes of New Hampshire. His love of ocean and travel have brought him back and forth across the country, from California to D.C., from New York to Hawai'i. When not engaged in other obsessions, he likes to write stories. He lives with his wife and daughter somewhere on this relatively small globe of ours. He also likes birds.
