  • Locus Origin - The Never Born on July 15, 2014

Loved Locus Origin....great tech and creature descriptions even though the format is pretty standard now. I would love to see it with a better cover though (i know never judge a book etc...) but i almost did thinking it was aimed at a younger audience and it really deserves to be read by anyone who loves the scif-fi genre
  • Zombie Drug Run on July 21, 2014

It`s no surprise this was in the `hard boiled` category and i thought because of it`s title it was perhaps...a little tongue in cheek novel about zombies....boy was i wrong...dark, disturbing and filled with a cast of `flawed` characters who somehow have you filled with loathing but....when the truths about their individual lives is made clearer, you`ll find yourself agonizing as to whether they were completely to blame...all in all a good read but certainly not for the faint hearted.
  • Clarity on July 21, 2014

If you were a fan of the old `firefly` sci fi series you will love this book. Captain Syper and his first mate Rin battling to keep the aeroskiff `clarity` and it`s crew afloat? in a somewhat fragmented and hostile world...forced to take on a job which even for him is not quite `jemmy` things soon spiral out of control putting his, and the lives of his crew at risk...brilliant descriptions of their world and a great play with words al la firefly keep you turning pages despite it`s length... hope there is a sequel lurking somewhere out there...
  • The Phoenix Conspiracy on July 28, 2014

agree with all the other reviewers`s an epic tale with elements of all your favourite sci fi shows...great plot...even better characters....calvin will put you in mind of a young cap`n james t kirk....he did me...reckless yes...but very loyal to his crew and determined to find the truth no matter what all in all a cracker...and its free! download it now or i`ll send a few remorii after you......
  • Time Storm on Aug. 06, 2014

interesting little book, part space western, part terra forming sci fi populated by a cast of essentially bored and dissolute characters anxious to get their company time over and return to earth...add an ancient people who are not supposed to be there and a trio of aliens who take on an unexpected form and read away...
  • The High Hunt on Aug. 15, 2014

Take a jaded animal bounty hunter, an assortment of fellow hunters anxious to take his crown as the best, stick them in the middle of a huge animal cull with a time limit for completion and throw in some rivals who just want him dead anyway....strange but compelling characters and a few twists along the way make this a good enough reason to download and enjoy....
