Investment banker turned entrepreneur turned author is how my career journey has been. Born in poverty, fueled by passion to excel and am well supported, first by parents and now by wife, in my endeavor to bring change in the world. I write to sensitize people about the world that exists but goes unnoticed. I am not bound by any genre but common theme in writing is social issues, contradiction in human behaviour and satire. Last, I am based in India.

What are you working on next?
I am working on different short stories involving social issues. Through humorous stories, I want to sensitize and educate readers about neglected social issues. My stories depict contemporary India. In certain stories, I use history to drive a point. In short, 'Factition' is the genre which I am going to focus on where facts are discussed through fiction.
Who are your favorite authors?
I am impressed with Alice Munro, Murakami and John Cheever's work. Amongst the Indian authors, I like Jhumpa Lahiri

  • Let's Make This Believable on Oct. 31, 2014

    Writing flash fiction is very difficult given the text limit. However, I find reviewing it much more difficult task. Plot was appealing but the end left me desiring for more.
