When did you first start writing?
I wrote my first story when I was ten years old. It was about a witch who lived in a painting. Though I never shared it with anyone, the experience solidified my love affair with words and creating worlds where I could escape and find myself all at the same time.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It all began with one random idea—a single climactic, dramatic scene. I didn't think much of it initially, but then, after it continued swimming around in my head for a time, I knew I had to lay it out and see if maybe I had something there to build on. The result is a story that explores the darker side of romance while posing the question: Is loving someone enough?
