I have to say I love the Spider Shepherd series and this was no exception. Fast paced and thrilling even as a short read. stephen Leather has created a character that is not only believable but human too and I can't wait for more of these short stories.

Wow! what a read, loved every page of this story. I couldn't put it down. Stephen Leather is a master story teller and this is a perfect introduction to his writing if you're a new reader. As a fan you'll love it just for the thrill of the plot.

A fabulous introduction to Stephen Leather thrillers. I love his work and couldn't put it down, gripping stuff. A master of his art, his stories draw you in, entertain and like a bad habit always leave you wanting another fix.

Another fabulous read from master story teller Stephen Leather. The story is related by all the characters involved so you see it from different sides as the tale unfolds. I was gripped by the whole story and loved the book, especially the final twist.
  • Kill Zone (A Spider Shepherd Short Story) on Feb. 10, 2013

Another brilliant short story from Stephen Leather, giving us the background of the fabulous Spider Shepherd. I loved this as much as all the others, not quite long enough to read in the bath but perfect for a tea break or a half hour of adrenaline fuelled action. A writer that never fails to please, there's always a twist and oh what a shocker the one in this was. Still loved the story and can't wait for the next one.

Fast paced and gripping he keeps you engaged in this story, always rooting for the good guys and knowing that the bad ones will get their come uppance. The Spider Shepherd short stories are a brilliant addition to the series, giving an insight to the man behind the soldier.
