Smashwords Interview

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Usually, it Tommy, patting my eyelids to tell me that the alarm clock has gone off and would I please get going with the cat food. And then Bella starts running round in circles suggesting that walkies would be good. And then everyone else wakes up, and there's no point in trying to sneak off back to bed! I love sleeping though, and quite often take sneaky naps on the sofa.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I do a lot of daydreaming, because you have to create your plot, and know your characters and their world inside out before you actually sit down at the computer and start typing.

Katie Fforde says this fast-paced sexy comedy is "A rip-roaring ride. Huge fun!" Camilla is the bravest, craziest woman to ever be kidnapped by an old guy in a pirate ship. (He was one of her internet-men when she lived in France.) But does she really have what it takes to be a romantic heroine? And what did happen to her knickers? This jaunt around the Caribbean is not for the faint-hearted!
