I tend not read read sci fi as a general rule, I prefer contemporary romance, but decided, since this was free and had great reviews, to give it a go. I am so glad I did. The characters are so well developed that I could not wait to find out what was going to happen to each one. I am not too sure about the ending as it is obviously setup as a cliffhanger for the sequel but if the second book carries on as strong as this one then I think we are in for a treat.
