Short Thoughts

Short Thoughts is a new start-up publishing thought-provoking a single effect digital short stories. ‘Short’ because each book can be read in up to 60 minutes, and ‘Thought’ because short stories aim to evoke or mood.

The history of the short story pre-dates the novel, but it’s availability has long been limited by their cost of publishing in print, unless as part of an anthology or collection. Since the rise of the ebook, individual short stories are now available at a more reasonable price.

Combine this availability with the short story’s convenience for modern life, e.g. easily consumed on your daily commute, and the result has been an increase in its popularity.

Short Thoughts is therefore solely dedicated to providing readers with this new format of fiction. Making one of the oldest written forms available for our modern-day lives.
