Peter Greene


Peter Greene has lived and worked in the Marche since 1988 and now runs the popular Marche Voyager website at

He has written a number of guide books on Italy, including Italy on Backroads and Central Italy: The Versatile Guide , and wrote regular features for the Saturday travel section of The Independent in the late 1980s.

He also runs a holiday rental business in the former workers’ cottage and ex-chapel of the old canonica, or priest’s house, that he restored with his partner, the literary translator Richard Dixon.
