Michael Scandalios


Michael has had an avid interest in the American Revolutionary War and the founding fathers of the American political system since early childhood. He majored in political science with an emphasis in international relations at UCLA, where he also played on the baseball team. After earning a master's degree in finance from the University of Chicago, he has enjoyed a 20+year career in the fields of investment management, banking and consulting. In his free time, Michael enjoys surfing, playing guitar, writing, traveling and spending time with his family at their home in Northern California. Privateer is his first novel.
