Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Watch American TV series.
Listen to music. My faves are MJ, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Lana del Rey and Christina Aguilera.
Switch between social media apps.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Aside from I know it's hard to be noticed by traditional publishers, I love the modern feel of being an indie author. Right? It's so cool. Plus traditional publishers get a lot of cut from your profit. I mean, I'm not greedy but I love the idea of how authors can earn more and be more in charge of the business side of their writing and publishing.

This book consists of two poetry collections. The first one entitled, “Colorless” contains poetry I have written from when I was thirteen up until now that I am twenty-six. The second collection is called “August Lace” and is about an unreciprocated infatuation. At the end, there is also a series of images of my hand-lettering of some of the poems.
