Nathaniel Patterson is an author of horror and science fiction who lives in Portland, Oregon. When he is not writing he works as a theatre technical director, designer, playwright, performer and director. He spends his free time with his wife Bailey, two cats and dog Shevy.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
There is always a moment of clarity while in the writing process. Where my hands are moving faster than my mind and then vice versa. The characters speak for themselves, and the story becomes self propelling.
What are you working on next?
I am working on a full novel set in the world of The P'yang. The P'yang is a rebuilt hyper-capitalist Pyongyang set thirty years in the future. The story is a noir thiller with a strong cyberpunk framework. Check out Edition to get a taste of this world.
