James Pereira

Biography

James Pereira is an Internationally acclaimed Consultant, Certified Trainer and Certified Coach in the fields of sales and leadership. He employs evidence-based, experience-guided up-to-date techniques in his speaking and training events in several countries within multiple industries.

His clients and participants gain from his holistic approach that is based upon his experience in marketing, sales, human resources and supply chain.

He has been involved in sales and marketing since 1986 and spent 22 years in MNC pharmaceutical companies, in product management, sales management and operations.

His experience is in building multi-cultural teams to perform at optimal levels via performance development techniques, sales force effectiveness programmes (including intense selling skills training) and development of common-sense marketing plans. His territories included Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Roles he has played were Sales Rep, Product Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Director (responsible for sales, marketing and supply chain).

As Deputy Dean of the Post Graduate School of a prominent management and entrepreneurship university, he received a grant to research and develop the MyAIM (Malaysian Appreciative Inquiry Model) to boost productivity of companies in Malaysia.

This research and his prior experience formed the platform for his own coaching skills model that he uses in his coaching skills training programme as well as coaching clients globally.

James founded Lion Reputation Marketing Coach in 2013, becoming Malaysia’s first Reputation Marketing Consultant. James is a Certified Trainer with the HRDF, Peak Potentials & Direct Selling World Alliance. He is also a Certified Coach by DSWA.

Among his significant achievements were the turnaround of a pharmaceutical division and growing a division from USD 3 million to 30 million in 9 years.
