Dear Nicky I loved this book! Great characters, wonderful love story, steamy sex (definitely an adult read) and nasty villan. It's great. I've also read it at fiction press and see that it's won two awards. One for best villain and one for best romance. Congrats. p.s. I see a previous reviewer thinks this is an Avatar rip-off. DUH!!!! If that reader would check sources, this story was written at fictionpress BEFORE Avatar was even released. What an idiot!

I really liked this story. The male lead is very romantic and sexy. The female lead is one we can identify with - an ordinary girl living an ordinary not so exciting life, until a certain man appears, that is! Yes, the love story is mostly predictble, sort of 'knight on a silver horse' but that's why we read romance, isn't it? The escapism, the wish that it would happen that way. There is also a 'twist' as the author puts it, which makes the story a bit unique from some others in the genre. Overall a good read!

Great story. You did your research for this one. The feelings of the female lead are nicely expressed, the 'evil' mother, the rescue... I really enjoy this!

I really liked this story. As with the author's other book, you can tell she actually researched the era she was writing about. Her insight into the woman's feelings was awesome. I think you'll enjoy this book.
