What are you working on next?
I'm working on a new business book, the next book in the "21 Tips" series. The next book in the 21 Tips series offers advice, suggestions and tips for small business owners on how they can use social media to network effectively, generate leads, sales and more. I have many business-related books in the works for the 21 Tips series, all coming to Smashwords soon! I also write about gardening for many print magazines, and am working on a revised edition of my book, "Get Your Hands Dirty Gardening!" as well as shaping a blog post series I wrote recently into a short ebook on raised bed gardening.
Who are your favorite authors?
I'll read any books by Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Philippa Gregory, and Geneen Roth. For business books, I like Seth Godin's work, as well as Suzanne Evans. Both offer brilliant insights for business people.
Turn your yard into a wild bird sanctuary by planting trees, shrubs and flowers to attract birds. Learn which feeders to choose, types of seed and feed, and more. A great book for those new to bird watching and gardening to attract birds.
An Ancient Gift and Other Stories is a collection of three “light” horror stories. These tales of the paranormal are akin to old-fashioned campfire stories - stories that offer a sense of the uncanny without the gore. Newly edited and revised edition.
How much should you charge for your services? Are you charging too little - or too much? "Pricing Your Services: 21 Tips for More Profit" will help consultants, coaches, writers, artists and service business owners develop a competitive pricing strategy for maximum profits.
I'm terrible at making bread. I've tried to make bread from scratch several times, and my husband has nicknamed it "brick bread." I bought this book hoping it would help and it DID! I love the simple recipes and the way the author explains each step in the process. I made bread last week and it was better than any other I've made, so I will keep practicing. Thank you for this book!!!!
I need to learn more about using images on Pinterest, and I trust Marye Audet's advice. She's amazing at using Pinterest for marketing. This is a good basic book on creating viral Pinterest images. She provides plenty of specifics on how to create images, as well as good places to find useful software and more.
