Sharon J. Gochenour

Biography

Sharon J. Gochenour is a writer and illustrator who has been many places and done many things.

She has previously had stories published in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine and Betwixt magazine of fantasy and science fiction. She has also written for the cultural criticism site Role Reboot, the lifestyle website xoJane, and the urbanism website This Big City. Her short story blog, featuring fiction both flash and otherwise and illustrations, can be found at High Flying Poultry.

Her illustration, paintings, and linocuts are available for sale on her Society6 page. She did the cover art for V. Wetlaufer’s 2016 book of poetry Call Me By My Other Name.

She has written a fantasy novel, The Golden City, which will be released on December 12, 2017 on Amazon and other platforms. She is hard at work on the second book in the series, The Golden Empress.
