You want to keep turning those pages to see what happens next, but it's deeper than many other chase 'em crime thrillers. It is also a psychological thriller and delves into the genesis of sociopathy and violence. By the time you are finished, it challenges you to think twice about what you think you already believe about good versus evil and right versus wrong. A very enjoyable and interesting read.
