Author Shaw Sander continued to write while fake-cheerfully working FedEx and food-service careers. Now happily retired in Tacoma WA, she manages a vestibular balance issue, a disability she had never heard of until it walloped her. Originally a Midwesterner, the Pacific Northwest remains her true home. She can never thank enough the family and friends who have kept her on the planet through it all.
