It is no secret that I am not a historical fan but I am a Claudy fan, so I went in to this with an open mind and by chapter two I was hooked! Staying up into the wee hours to finish it.
Claudy's heroine's are always full of mischief and fiesty, which I adore and her hero's may be a little rough around the edges but when they fall, they fall hard. I have no complaints about this story at all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable tale and I think she's starting to convert me into a historical fan :)
Oh my... My heart really broke for Breslyn in this novella. He really caught my attention in Spellbound so when I saw there was novella's dedicated purely to him I jumped at the chance to get them. I can't wait to read the rest of them and get to know him better. So far 'm loving what I read!
I enjoyed this novella from Claudy, if you are interested in reading her Legend series I would highly recommend reading this it offers insights into Queen Aaibhe via her personal musings and flashbacks. It really opened my eyes as to why she became the woman she is today.
