  • Peter: A Darkened Fairytale on June 11, 2013

The magical and mysterious realms that you are taken to with Peter A Darkened Fairytale, are very creative and I really felt like I was a mouse in Peters pocket along for the adventure. This story with dark realms is so imaginative and full of non-stop action that I found myself on the edge of my seat and reading many parts out loud to my son, who wanted to know what happened with Peter and the scroll. This is his new summer read and William O'Brien is a great story teller to accomplish this. I recommend this book to everyone. With colorful characters such as fairies, elves, dragons, ghosts, and too many more to name, children of all ages will love the magical characters that come to life in surprising ways. I hope Peter has more adventures!
  • The Visitation on Sep. 06, 2013

A very short beautiful story of the love of a man for his dearly departed wife. Very short descriptions of the rooms made me feel like I was there in the clutter of the dust covered nic-nacs. I was deeply touched and feel a bit relieved that there will be someone waiting for me in the great beyond.

Backfire is another amazing short story by the very talented author Bonnie Bernard. Rancid and Carly out on a motorcycle ride stop in a town called Friday Morning where everything may not be what it seems. This is short story and I don't want to give away one single thing so I will just say, read this author's books and get to know what a great story teller she is. She will take you on twists and turns full of suspense and shockers. There is relatable humor and always great one-liners that make you laugh out loud. I was gifted this copy but I would absolutely buy every book this author writes. WOW!!
  • The Rekindled Affair on Oct. 09, 2013

The Rekindled Affair is a very short read that was witty and charming. By Author Peter John who is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine, I find his books refreshing and always great for a laugh. This book has a wonderful story line with charm and humor. A couple reunited after 45 years comes together for a date night. Not like your usual young couples in love, these two have matured and what follows is a fun read! 5 stars for this book of "The Rekindled Affair" and of a Rekindled Love.
  • Rendezvous in Vegas on Oct. 24, 2013

Rendezvous in Vegas by Shemeka Mitchell is a hot and steamy book that is short and well written. The story-line is about Liz and Tony, how they meet and take Vegas by storm. Not everything has to stay in Vegas as in the end their hot romance leads to more. If you like hot steamy romance with a lap dance Vegas style and a great story this is a book for you! I give this book "Rendezvous in Vegas" 5 stars. The author draws you in quickly and the story moves a long with great characters and a fun time.
  • Alien Species Intervention Books 1-3 on March 13, 2014

Alien Species Intervention: Books 1-3 (Species Intervention #6609) by J.K. Accinni is one of the best series I have read in a long while! Thank you so much to the author for her wonderful books. I am absolutely hooked and can not wait to read more! Totally invested with every single character, whether they are good or bad, the pages turn themselves. J.K. Accinni is a master storyteller and her world with Baby and Echo are wonderful. This storyline is going to get even better and the world had better be prepared. Oh too late! Creative and absorbing, I could picture many scenes, from Echo riding on the family pet to the long alien fingers that stroke the dogs fur. To include saving many of our endangered species was an added treat. I cannot wait to see how it all turns out. Mankind should Beware! I think for a trilogy there should be more stars given. I would like to give 15 Golden Stars for this awesome read! Highly recommended and I am off to read Hive which I am sure will be highly gripping and another 5 stars for this Author.
