Hey Guys! My name is Sheilane Nadia, and I'm from the tiny twin-island of Antigua & Barbuda.
I've never heard of an internationally successful Caribbean author, but I'd love to be the first.
My specialty is fantasy. I love creating an entirely new world for my readers- much like my idol J. K. Rowling did in the Harry Potter series.
But I also dabble in romance as well. I mean, who doesn't love a good love story that melts your heart and brings tears to your eyes? I sure do!
I've written four books so far, and I see many more in my future. I can never stop writing. It's my passion!
So if you like what you read, please let me know by giving the book a review. Even if you don't like it, I still want to hear why so that I can improve. Thanks you so much!
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
My earliest, and most impactful story memory is 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone', by J.K. Rowling. It filled me with such excitement and wonder; and transported me to a different world, where I actually wanted to live lol.
How do you approach cover design?
I try to choose a cover that reflects my story line as much as possible. In other words, it is the entire story in one picture.
Two teen Princesses must leave their majestic and envied island of Artinia in search of their little sister, who may or may not have been kidnapped by a gang of raiders.
Will they be able to find her? Or is she gone forever?
At birth, Magdiel Andalf's striking beauty marks as a contestant in her country's annual Death Pageant, where the winner receives the coveted title of 'Worthy Sacrament' and is burned alive as a sacrifice to the revered Rain God, Harun.
At 17 years old, Magdiel struggles to overcome self-will for the greater good.
It is story of a love worth fighting for and a deathly plan worth executing.
