Biography

Sindi Somers has been writing since she was a young child, winning her first writing award in the first grade. She initially gravitated towards poetry, short stories and songs. Sindi enjoys both comedic and dramatic writing. Sindi likes learning, researching and reading non-fiction on topics she is interested in learning about. In 2017 Sindi gave a reading of her picture book about animals, "I Love all the Animals in this World" to a group of elementary school teachers, students and their parents at the Vancouver, Washington Barnes & Noble. The next step for Sindi? Getting this book into e-book format and sharing it with a larger audience! This happened on June 30, 2019 with the release on Smashwords.

This is a children's picture book celebrating animals and my love for them. It is written in rhyme and is fun and easy to read. The flowing words are accompanied with beautiful photographs of both wild and domesticated animals.
