I'm a 30-something currently living on the East Coast and dying to move back to the Midwest! I enjoy hiking and mountain biking as well as cooking, reading, crafting, online video games, and trying to play the guitar. I spent a lot of my free time with my two German Shepherds, Thorn and Ivy.
I am currently working on the young adult supernatural novel "Weirdly Wyrd" and the fantasy adventure romance "Into the Skies" (Malysta Series, Book One) as well as various poetry and short stories.
While I am a self-taught writer, I constantly strive to learn how to tell a better story and develop stronger characters. I am usually experimenting with different poetry techniques to find which work best for me or just to have some fun with words. Growth is a constant part of my working process even though, for me, writing will most likely always remain a cathartic indulgence.
I don't think the world will ever have "too many writers," and I try to support all writers out there because I never want to run out of things to read!

It's controlled chaos. There are Hello Kitty and MLP stickers stuck to most surfaces. My mouse pad is World of Warcraft. There are dragon toys and miscellaneous plushies on the upper shelves. One shelf holds a box of personal paperwork; another holds a basket filled with DVDs as well as a K-Cup 3-drawer unit, and an incense burner. A cubby contains a box with emergency candy stashes as well as journals and sketchbooks. I have baskets everywhere with everything from food to electrical wiring in them. My phone is here, my 3DS, my Zune, two wireless keyboards (one full, one mini), one point-and-shoot camera, one DSLR camera, Wacom Intuos 5, pens, pencils, markers, and on and on the list goes. I know where everything is though!
Belsnickel and his reindeer Eikthyrnir never expected to be waylaid while checking off the Naughty and Nice List. When they stumble upon an group of forest folk immersed in their midwinter's festival, the duo realize they're quite a long way from home, but that doesn't stop the pair from crashing the party and continuing their responsibilities.
