The Good: Very imaginative story line that will keep you interested through the end.
The Bad: Dialog starts off as being very stilted, but does improve as the book goes along. Character development remains shallow and overall descriptiveness of environment, characters and settings is lacking.
Overall verdict: Worth reading for the plot driven storyline.
Excellent storyline and plot, some of the characters leave you wishing that you could find out more about them, and the overall setting is described fairly well.
The bottom line is that it will keep you turning the electronic pages and when you get to the end you will be hoping that the author has a sequel in the works.
This is not a terribly written book, rather it it a well written book with a terrible main character.
If you enjoy reading about people who are completely self absorbed and continually make poor decisions and then wallow in the results you will find this a delightful read. Not my thing.
An interesting and enjoyable read, right up to the ending, where it seems the author decided he had to wrap it up completely and neatly in two pages or less. Still the journey to that point was worthwhile.
The main character is stubborn, selfish and living in denial of what every other character in the book is telling her. It is hard to imagine a less likable person. Only read this if you think pounding your head into a wall is an enjoyable pasttime.
Very interesting fantasy book with a unique view of the world of the fae. Great character development of the main character and intriguing plot line that will keep you reading.
Will definitely purchase the next volume to see where this goes,
