Avra's God is another wonderful novel by Ann Lee Miller. Her stories are heartwarming to read. She takes a great stand on Christianity. Her characters are endearing and pull you into the story. Great job.

This is the fourth novel I have read written by Ann Lee Miller. I like the way Ann brings the characters to life and draws you into their lives and the environment. This is my favorite book so far. It is about Jake who owns and operates a boat and Rachel who applied for a job being part of his crew. They both are working through lost loves and are trying to straighten out their lives. Through their friendship and their trust in God, they get things settled very nicely. Great job Ann.

Ann Lee Miller took the aspect of homosexuality and dealt with it in a very down to earth way. Using her sweet love story of Samma and Ash to break down their fears of doing what people expected of them and what was really God's will. Despite their true feelings for each other since childhood, they were being pulled apart by their families. Samma was being pushed by her father to marry Storm for political gain and Ash was tormented thinking he was gay. Chasing Happy the name of the album Samma cut sums up the whole story.
