Samantha Stauch

Biography

I was born in Fort Bragg, NC and when I was about a year old my parents returned to their roots and I've been a Michigander ever since.

I grew up in "the thumb" in a small farm town, but moved to the UP to pursue my Bachelor's in Psychology at Michigan Technological University. During my studies, I started working at the Writing Center, and it grew to be the only thing I loved about college. Since I enjoyed writing so much, I added on a Minor in Journalism. I met my husband (a mechanical engineer) on my first day there!

After I graduated, I didn't feel like I'd learned enough yet, so I pursued a Master's in Educational Technology at Western Michigan University.

Now I reside on an island located just south of Detroit, Mi. I live with my daughter, husband, and our 3 dogs: Merit, Walter, and Spree.
