  • Phantoms In Philadelphia (Phantom Knights Book 1) on Jan. 05, 2014

I am absolutely in love with this series! The characters development and reactions to the plot are both believable and enjoyable to read. I see myself getting to know and grow with the characters, glad to find out more about there past and how it relates to their future decisions. I will be looking forward to getting to read more from Amalie Vantana. Please continue to inspire others!
  • The Charleston Chase (Phantom Knights Book 2) on Jan. 05, 2014

I enjoyed the first part to the Phantom Knights series that it honestly was a no brainier decision to buy the second addition to the series. I love how I get to see both points of view for each sibling and I enjoyed the layered feel it gave to the story showing how each could have their own thoughts and what they think the other character would think, then switch to that character and have them explain their reasons. It gave for an enjoyable read and I am anxiously awaiting the next installment!

I loved the fast pace and the style in which the series the written, not to mention the fact that it felt realistically portrayed for a story with such an intriguing plot. The method in which Lorena Angell was able to describe the world of her story and give it such a believable and in depth feel made this one of my favorites. It is true the title doesn't give much credit to the action-filled story that this is, but i like that it zoned in on an simple aspect of the story that is the main reason, really. It gives it a quirky feel that doesn't anything away to the adventure of the story line.
