After ten years of research and teaching in the English Literature department of a British university, Somerset McCoy jumped over the fence to become a fiction author. She lives in England with her husband and their cats.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

I love getting lost in another world, immersing myself in the stories floating around in my head. It's the same kind of joy that I find in reading.

What do your fans mean to you?

My fans mean everything, because in order to succeed as a writer, you need to have readers! I love hearing readers' views on my books, or on what kind of book they'd like me to write next.
