Didn't get far before I stopped and deleted from my Nook. It is set in the future, which doesn't appeal to me. Didn't read far enough to say if it was any good or not. This is just not my cup of tea.
  • A Cat Caper: A Delilah Duffy Short on July 04, 2014

Short story of a book shop owner/reluctant detective searching for missing pets. It was very enjoyable so I would have liked it to be longer.
  • The Gauguin Connection on July 26, 2014

I love, love, love this book! Estelle Ryan is a genius! 360 pages, every one interesting and fast paced. I could hardly bear to put it down to work and sleep! I will be reading the other books in this series. Great characters and character development. A keeper.
  • Clearwater Journals on Aug. 25, 2014

This was a page turner. Held my interest throughout. The ending was too abbreviated and did not provide "closure," that's my only complaint. Al Rennie is worthy of a purchased read and I probably will buy some more of his books.
  • Crime in the Community on Aug. 31, 2014

Perhaps if I were from Scotland or England it would make sense, but I enjoyed this, found it fast paced and interesting, even if it was confusing sometimes. I recommend.
  • Now They Call Me Gunner on Sep. 12, 2014

This is a great read! It moves faster than Gunner and Randal on their bikes at all times. Never boring. There was one, "Oh no" at the end and one "yay" so it's balanced :) Read cause you will like it. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
  • Incy Wincy Spider on July 08, 2015

I couldn't put it down, but had to sleep sometime. The humor is subtle and entertaining. I loved it.
  • Shaded Light: The Case of the Tactless Trophy Wife: A Paul Manziuk and Jacquie Ryan Mystery on July 14, 2015

First rate story, although it is over 300 pages (which I like unless it is awful) it kept me turning pages far into the night. Excellent book. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
  • Ashes to Ashes on July 25, 2015

Good plot, but way to much filler. This book could have been considerably shorter. I don't want to spoil, so I'll just say that there are two things that happened that I did not care for at all, and one that I found completely unbelievable. But I read all 394 pages and in the end there was no end, the book just drops you head first with NO revelation of the things you read all that time to find out. There are tons of spelling mistakes, but that doesn't bother me but I know some people are distracted by that.
  • Not Famous in Hollywood (Not in Hollywood Book 1) on Sep. 10, 2015

This is a great cozy mystery with quirky characters, no super bloody scenes (there is a dead body but it is a murder mystery after all!) I will read the rest of the series. I loved it!
  • Out of Time on Sep. 14, 2015

Excellent read, even though the ending was a twist but didn't throw me off. Fast paced and I had trouble putting it down too.
