Sophie B. Olsen is an artist and author living in New England, USA. In her “real life” Sophie's been employed in the field of medicine for many years. Despite the fact she forbid them to do so, her three children grew up and got their own lives, freeing Sophie to return to writing, her first love, if you don't count bugs. Or fish. Or any of the many other scientific pursuits she's been addicted to along the way.
She's written two novels and is working on her third, Law and Legend, as well as several short stories.
In her non-writing time, Sophie confesses to a love for all things geeky, including geology, biology, neuroscience, medical technology, ornithology, photography, and coding websites.
She's getting older every day.

A private detective chases a burglar onto the midnight streets of Boston and discovers the oddest artist he's ever seen. Terrified that her secret identity will wreck her real life, the artist can't imagine the havoc Mike's about to cause. A short story containing no porn whatsoever, the title refers to a comment made by one of the story's three compelling main characters.
What happens when a sexy pet store owner lures a sophisticated wife into his eco-friendly web? "Glass House" is the author's fun-filled attempt at "flash fiction", ultra-short stories of less than 1000 words. At 1400 words, Sophie laughingly calls the story her "best failure ever" and promises to revisit its heroine soon. In the meantime, for a tasty lunch-time snack, give "Glass House" a try!
